We’re Home!

Quick post to let you all know that Pamela came through the surgery well.  The damage was a little more extensive than the MRI showed, but the Dr. was able to fix everything within the time he had predicted.  Technically, Pam’s “capsule” was not only stretched, but also “de-laminated”.  The Dr. basically did a “gather” stitch on the capsule in 2 areas to tighten it up around the ball.  She is in some pain, but has a nerve block in her neck to keep her shoulder numb.  She also has a “cryo-pac” that keeps icewater on the shoulder, and an immobilizing sling.  It’s very sad to look at her, but she is doing well as long as she can sleep.  She will have the nerve block removed on Monday.  Pray for her that the pain will be bearable, and that she will be faithful to do the PT required.

Thank you all for your kind words and prayers.  She so appreciates it, as do we all.

Have a blessed day!

About Petty Bunch

The Petty Bunch is what we have called our family since Bill and I (Janina) began our family back in the early 1980s. We have gone down many roads together - homeschooling our kiddoes, enjoying the freedom of entrepreneurship many years, working at "real jobs" other years. Through it all, we have been loved with God's everlasting love, and have found that underneath are His everlasting arms! We are blessed to have been married for over 36 years, and have 3 incredible adult children, a wonderful daughter-in-law, an amazing son-in-law, and SEVEN grandchildren: four precious granddaughters, three handsome grandsons - so far. We are empty nesters, still enjoy the life of an entrepreneur and the freedom it gives us to continue enjoying our kids and now, their kids!

I am so glad to read this.  I have been checking for it all day.  We just came up from cooling our “heels” in the river for a couple of hours.  Not fair that you all keep getting all that rain and we don’t get even a “spit” over here.  Oh, we need rain and lots of it so bad.  We still have nine spots empty and that never happens in August.  They are all off-water spots, but revenue none the less.
Praise God for taking care of our Pam.  Give her my love and tell her if Aunt B can do PT after an entire knee replacement, she can do it, and better!!!!
    Much love!!!!!
