I don’t have the brain power tonight to post much, but wanted to give a report.  I am going to therapy twice/week and today was brutal.  They told me I could drive a short distance (not more that 20ish miles), so I drove from the Woodlands to our Walmart, but couldn’t go anymore.  My neck just started to freeze up.  So, taking it slow.

Bill talked to the insurance adjustor today.  It’s so upsetting that you can lose your car through no fault of your own, but not be compensated enough to replace it, even with something comparable.  It’s so frustrating!

Thanks to everyone praying out there.  Our circumstances are still much the same, but seeing the love coming at us from all sides has really given us a boost!  God is so good.

Have a blessed evening, more news and better post later.

About pettybunch

I am loved with God's everlasting love, and underneath are His everlasting arms - and I haven't gotten over it yet! I am also blessed to be married for over 36 years to the man of my dreams, and have 3 incredible adult children, an amazing son-in-law, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and SEVEN grandchildren: four precious granddaughters, three handsome grandsons - so far. I am a retired Home Educator, and loved every moment of it! We are empty nesters, and are endeavoring to embrace this new phase of life. God is so good!

I know God made insurance people also but it sure is hard to have a Christian attitude about insurance!  Blessed are the blood suckers, for they shall test our faith to its limits and hopefully make us stronger!

  2. I’m just glad you were driving an insured vehicle, period! 🙂

Hi Nina, Hi Bill… (Hiiiiii  Dannyyyeeee….  somewhere in the background)
Some of the people I’m hearing from to seem to think that our circumstances are the indication of God’s pleasure in us:  Things going well = God likes us.  Things going poorly = God is mad.
Anyway, just remember, God pointed out Job as a man of unequalled faith, then let the enemy slice and dice…
We’re sorry for your past month, but certain the Father’s heart is unchanging toward you.  Yet ours is changing… Growing fonder as the weeks go by…
Somehow in the grey of it all, believe without a doubt, above the clouds, the Son is shining so very brightly…
    Love to you all,
    Pam and Barry
