Pamela is in Michigan with Will. Today he took her on a picnic near this lighthouse.
A lady was taking photos of her group, so Will asked her if she would take a picture of he and Pamela with his camera. She said she would, so he took her the camera, and asked her to take several shots.
So, here they are all posed for a nice photo of a day on Lake Michigan, getting ready for a picnic. Then…
“Will you marry me?”
Yep, Pamela and Will are officially engaged! Will called Bill at 6 this morning to ask permission to propose today. We were so excited to give the okay, especially since we knew it would most definitely be a surprise for Pamela.
What was great was that as this sweet lady was recording the event for Will, a crowd began to gather. The crowd applauded for the happy occasion!
When the lady gave the camera back to Will, she was crying and telling them, “That was so sweet!”
Isn’t that just the neatest story?!

It is so beautiful, and even though Pamela didn’t pick it out, it is exactly what she would have picked.
Bill and I can’t even begin to tell you how blessed we are to have Will come into our lives. Without hesitation, we can say with Pamela that he is definitely “God’s Will”!!!!

Dodie again…………..THANK GOODNESS she doesn’t have my klutzyness!! I would have dropped the ring in the water or knocked it out of his hand being so excited~~NO WAY would I have gone near the water. Rob proposed to Angie on a board walk over water in the Woodlands. Again, I thought the same thing about dropping it in the water, ha!!!
@ALDOG1 – Dodie, that is hysterical!! I hadn’t thought of that, but she actually is kind of klutzy! It’s a wonder he didn’t think of that, but all’s well that ends well!
I have to admit I thought the same thing as soon as I saw the water. Allen girls are such klutzes!!! I would probably have fallen in the water myself. I tried to fall in the door at the groomer’s yesterday. Tripped on a step up from one room to the next and looked like a human bumper car before I finally caught myself against a bookcase. Scared the bejebers out of me and the groomer. ha ha Those little 3 inch step ups are the killers!!!!
