Chanse’s Senior Session

Chanse is our neighbor & friend for whom Bill and Dannye had the privilege of shooting senior portraits.  He wanted to try some things with low light, which Bill loves to do, so they had a great time.  It also helps that Chanse is fun and outgoing!  There will be little commentary because I don’t have a great deal of time, so here goes:

Such a fun time with a great young man!  Just a note about Chanse – before Bill and I moved in with the folks, Chanse and his brother could be counted on to keep an eye out for any signs of trouble at Mama and Daddy’s.  One day, the boys found Daddy with his lawn tractor wrapped up in a peach tree!  They helped him out of the situation, and that was one of the last times Daddy used the lawn tractor – but those boys still talk about “Mr. Allen climbing that tree with his mower!”

Mama had a little bit better day yesterday, but is still in a great deal of pain.  Her pain management doctor wants to see her ASAP, which is next Tuesday.  We are praying for any kind of relief for her!

Gotta run – I might get to go home early today!

God bless your day!

About Petty Bunch

The Petty Bunch is what we have called our family since Bill and I (Janina) began our family back in the early 1980s. We have gone down many roads together - homeschooling our kiddoes, enjoying the freedom of entrepreneurship many years, working at "real jobs" other years. Through it all, we have been loved with God's everlasting love, and have found that underneath are His everlasting arms! We are blessed to have been married for over 36 years, and have 3 incredible adult children, a wonderful daughter-in-law, an amazing son-in-law, and SEVEN grandchildren: four precious granddaughters, three handsome grandsons - so far. We are empty nesters, still enjoy the life of an entrepreneur and the freedom it gives us to continue enjoying our kids and now, their kids!

These are so great! Great use of available light. And he sounds like such a great young man – any guy these days who will watch out for someone else’s family is definitely worth celebrating.

  2. Great pictures….as always! : )
